J.C. Mathiews has endorsed Dr. Dawn Buckingham for Texas State Senate

The Dr. Dawn Buckingham for Texas State Senate Campaign released today that J.C. Mathiews, Area V Director of the Association of Texas Soil and Water Conservation Districts*, has endorsed Dr. Dawn Buckingham for Texas State Senate.
“Dr. Buckingham is a true conservative that will stand up for those living in the rural areas of Texas,” stated Mr. Mathiews. “She will fight for water conservation, rural electric cooperatives, rural schools, as well as be a champion of conservative principles.”
Mr. Mathiews serves on a variety of local and state of boards. For example, he is currently a School Board Trustee, a board of director of Fort Belknap Electric Cooperative, Inc., as well as a board of director of a large electric power and generation plant in South Texas, San Miguel Electric Cooperative.
“I am truly honored to have someone as tied to rural Texas issues as J.C. Mathiews on my team,” Dawn commented. “His endorsement continues to show that I’m the true conservative candidate in this race and will fight the hardest for water and rural issues in Senate District 24.”
The Dr. Dawn Buckingham Campaign has now received endorsements from Governor Perry, Senator Schwertner, Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Carol Everett, Texas Ophthalmological Association, Brigadier General Richard Drury (ret.), Wes Riddle, Lori Devillez, Linda Kinney, Rural Friends of Electric Cooperatives, Bonny Cain, Jim Powers, Jerry Patterson, and Joe McBride.
